Biography
Serrena is a researcher in the Gupta Lab (Yale Liver Center). She studied Neuroscience and Chemistry at New York University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2021. Her current work involves various projects aimed at understanding how different cell populations in the biliary tree communicate during development, homeostasis, and disease. The ultimate goal of her research is to contribute to therapeutic advancements for patients with cholangiopathies.
