Biography
Pamela Hu MD is an Instructor of Pediatrics in the Section of Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at Yale University School of Medicine. She received her M.D. from George Washington University and completed her Pediatric residency and Pediatric Endocrinology fellowship training at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. In addition to being fellowship-trained in Pediatric Endocrinology, she is also board-certified in Obesity Medicine. Dr. Hu’s primary interest is in working closely with families and colleagues to provide high quality clinical care for children with disorders of the endocrine system. She offers clinics in general endocrinology, metabolic bone, obesity, and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Hu’s research interests include the management of childhood obesity and its co-morbidities including type 2 diabetes and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). She also enjoys working on quality improvement projects to increase equitable access to healthcare.
