Biography

Muniza Anum Majoka is a graduate of Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan. She did her psychiatric residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, Brooklyn. She then went on to complete two fellowships: Geriatric psychiatry at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Interventional Psychiatry at Yale.
Throughout her psychiatric training she has been a part of the American Psychiatric Association. She was an APAF Diversity Leadership Fellow and was elected as chair of the Minority Fellowship Program.  She is currently a corresponding member of the APA Practice Guidelines Committee.
