Graduated from Universidad San Francisco de Quito School of Medicine, Ecuador.
Completed a residency in Neurology and was elected chief resident at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Texas.
Fellow at Yale New Haven Hospital, Department of Neuro-Oncology.
