Luke Sanford, PhD

Luke graduated with a PhD in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of California, San Diego in 2021 where he studied the political economy of natural resource use and environmental protection. Luke studies methods for using new sources of data, including text and satellite images, to learn about how people value and use natural resources. In his free time Luke enjoys adventure sports and reading speculative fiction.
