Kanu Priya Singh

Dr. Kanu Priya Singh is a PostDoctoral Associate at the XR Pediatrics Lab at Yale Pediatrics. Kanu received her Ph.D. in Information Science and Learning Technologies from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO where she examined the complex entanglement of relations between cross-disciplinary research processes and sociotechnical entities and how it impacts the collaborative practices of user experience (UX) studies in cyberinfrastructure projects and shapes the process of cyberinfrastructure development. Kanu received her MS degree in Information Systems from Drexel University. Before joining her Ph.D. studies in 2019, she had worked as an Information Technology process consultant at Accenture Solutions in India. Kanu is excited to join the XR Pediatrics at Yale (XRPEDS) Lab and bring her passion for creating human-centered design to the process of designing meaningful interactions and learning experiences in VR games to promote healthy behavior.
