Julie Palmer-Hoffman

Julie Palmer-Hoffman, MA, MSN, APRN-BC, ACHPN, is a nurse practitioner with the Inpatient Palliative Care team. She received her nursing degree from the Yale School of Nursing, where she specialized in Adult/Gerontology Acute Care, with a concentration in Oncology. She holds a master's in literature from University College London and, prior to her transition into nursing, worked for several years as an editor in academic publishing. Julie joined the Yale Palliative Care team in 2019 after working as a hospice nurse. She is an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse and is especially interested in topics in narrative medicine, palliative nursing education, and end-of-life care.
