Jordyn Barkley

Jordyn Barkley is an undergraduate student at Spelman College in Atlanta, GA majoring in Psychology. Jordyn is currently participating in the Child Study Center Developmental Science Summer Internship under the mentorship of Dr. Christina Cipriano in The Education Collaboratory. Her research interests include cognitive development, social and emotional learning (SEL), and applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions. She currently works as a Behavior Technician at Ascend Behavior Consultants where she works with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and implements ABA interventions. For her postgraduate plans, she plans to get a PhD and continue a career in research with a concentration in child psychology. Down the road, she strives to open her mental health care center for marginalized communities.
