Biography
As a communications officer at Yale School of Public Health, Jane promotes the work of the school's faculty and students in a variety of publications including Yale Public Health magazine, Yale News, the YSPH website, and various newsletters. Before joining YSPH, Jane was a content specialist at Yale School of Medicine, where she wrote on a range of topics for internal and external audiences. A prolific writer, Jane published widely read articles on topics including why shortness of breath persists in some people with long Covid-19, and a study that showed that the diabetes drug, tirzepatide, resulted in more than 20% weight reduction in individuals with obesity.
Jane has 20+ years of experience in journalism, marketing, and communications. Before arriving at Yale in 2018, she worked at The Hartford Courant as a reporter and magazine writer before accepting a new role in the company’s business division promoting the newsroom’s work to readers.
