Biography

Cornelia “Connie” Evans leads all development and alumni relations initiatives at YSPH. Connie joined Yale with a 20-year history of managing fundraising success in the fields of higher education, healthcare, and the arts. Prior to her work at YSPH, Connie served as Director of Development for the Yale School of Medicine Departments of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Yale Stem Cell Center. Before coming to Yale, she served as Executive Director of the Griffin Hospital Development Fund, Director of Development for Long Wharf Theater, Director of Major and Planned Gifts at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and Project Manager for AMS Planning and Research, an arts management consulting firm. Connie received an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in Theater Management and holds a BA in Theater from the University of Maine, where she graduated magna cum laude and with Highest Honors. Connie volunteers with Helping Families Settle, a local refugee resettlement organization affiliated with IRIS: Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services and is active in fundraising and advocacy efforts in support of Ukraine.
