Benjamin (Ben) Steren grew up in Rockville, Maryland. He attended Vanderbilt University for his Undergraduate education where he majored in Medicine, Health and Society. Currently he is a 5th year medical student doing research with the department of Ophthalmology and Visual science. His research interests include ocular oncology, orbital trauma, technology integration into Ophthalmology, medical disparities and medical ethics.
