Robert M. Pearl, M.D. ’72, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, is executive director and CEO of The Permanente Medical Group Inc. (PMG), the largest medical group in the nation. Pearl, a member of the Federation Executive Committee of the PMG, is responsible for strategy development and implementation of the national Internet and e-health care efforts for Kaiser Permanente, and on a national level he oversees the health care provided to eight million citizens across the nation.
