New PGY-1 and Albert J. Solnit Integrated Adult/Child Psychiatry residents matched with the Department of Psychiatry on March 19.
The class is diverse with 55 percent affiliating as female and 55 percent affiliating as Under-Represented in Medicine. Despite having a virtual match process in which applicants were not able to visit New Haven, class members will travel from all parts of the United States to continue their education at Yale.
Robert Rohrbaugh, MD, Professor of Psychiatry, Deputy Chair for Education, and Residency Program Director, stated: "I’d like to thank the many residents, faculty, and our education administration team who worked so effectively to recruit such a talented group to our residency program.
