The International Symposium on Embodied Cognition

The International Symposium on Embodied Cognition will take place on Saturday, April 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Yale Science Building (260 Whitney Ave.). The symposium is hosted by the Yale Center for Brain and Mind Health.

Join us for 21st century understandings of how our body and brain work together for mental and physical health and performance.

The symposium will feature Bessel van der Kolk, author of The Body Keeps the Score; John Ratey, author of Spark; and Rajita Sinha, director of the Yale Interdisciplinary Stress Center, plus a lineup of world experts on how embodied cognition relates to neurorehabilitation, psychedelics, dance, movement and aging, the embodied classroom, digital therapeutics, sports psychology, and much more.
