Requests for patient medical records received from the following entities should be directed to Judy Harris, Compliance Officer, YPB B53:
- Medicare's Medical Review Unit
- Medicare's Benefit Integrity Unit
- Medicaid
The Compliance Office coordinates these requests and helps to ensure the requests are handled timely and all appropriate records are sent to the requesting entity. The Compliance Office also conducts a review of the medical record documentation as compared to the billing information for the service(s). Any questions regarding these requests can be directed to Judy Harris at 785-3868.
