Long Ridge Medical Center Opens in Stamford

Yale Medicine and Yale New Haven Health celebrated the opening of the Long Ridge Medical Center in Stamford on Monday 9/12. Yale Medicine Leadership, Yale New Haven Health Leadership, Stamford Mayor David Martin, community physicians, and management and staff involved the planning and development of the facility attended.

Cutting the ribbon were (l-r) Heather Eastman, Greenwich Hospital interim Facilities director; Sue Brown, RN, MSN, Greenwich Hospital CNO/EVP of Operations and Patient Care Services; Margie Guglin, YNHHS VP, Clinical Project Management; Marc Kosak, Greenwich Hospital SVP of Administration; Marna Borgstrom, YNHHS CEO and president; Norman Roth, Greenwich Hospital president; Paul Taheri, MD, Yale Medicine CEO; Mary O’Connor, MD, director of the Center for Musculoskeletal Care; Marie Follo, YNHHS director of Practice Management; Kimbirly Moriarty, YNHHS chief of Network Strategy; Prathibha Varkey, MBBS, Northeast Medical Group CEO; and Thomas Madden, director of Economic Development, Stamford.

Yale Medicine Center for Musculoskeletal Care (CMC) is located at the Long Ridge Medical Center. CMC provides comprehensive multidisciplinary care for patients with problems affecting the muscles, joints, bones and nerves.
