Also, please save the date for our first Global Health Night Out of the academic year: Sickle Cell Anemia & Malaria in Sub-Saharan Africa, which will take place on Wednesday, November 1st from 6:30-8pm. The event will be held in person and dinner will be provided; the discussion will focus on three key articles which are available through the RSVP link below. Our featured faculty is Dr. Christine Sekaggya-Wiltshire, a visiting colleague from Mulago Hospital in Kampala, Uganda who is the lead physician on the Mulago Hospital Hematology Unit and is a Senior Research Scientist at the Infectious Diseases Institute at Makerere University, along with Dr. Mercy Adewale, Yale Emergency Medicine PGY-2.
