Evan Jameyfield, MD Jointly Appointed as Assistant Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology, Starting August 1st, 2024

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Evan Jameyfield will be joining our departments with a joint appointment as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Science and Assistant Professor of Neurology effective August 1, 2024.


Dr. Evan Jameyfield is a board-certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Neuro-Ophthalmology. Dr. Jameyfield received his medical degree at Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University in North Haven, CT and then completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences system in Chicago, IL, followed by his fellowship in Neuro-Ophthalmology at Washington University School of Medicine. His academic interests include quality improvement in neuro-ophthalmology and the use of optical coherence tomography to better understand neurological diseases. He particularly enjoys teaching neurological imaging to ophthalmology learners and teaching the eye exam to neurology learners.


Dr. Jameyfield will join our outstanding neuro-ophthalmology service with Drs. Adeniyi Fisayo and Anita Kohli, and he will be seeing patients in our Temple Street location.
