April 25, 2024

"Child Mental Health: Fostering Wellness in Children" is a four-part webinar series developed by the Office of Academic & Professional Development (OAPD), the chief wellness officer for the YSM and YNHHS aligned clinician enterprise, and the Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) to share professional expertise, explore contemporary research, and exchange ideas in support of the role we all play in understanding children’s development and mental health.

All of the webinars will take place in May, in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month. The live webinars include curated panel discussions with subject matter experts from the YCSC, occurring at noon on the following dates:

May 8: Brains, Genes, and Neurodevelopment

May 15: Working In and With Our Community

May 22: Transitioning to Parenting – The Impact of Stress and Trauma

May 29: Understanding Emotions

You can access each webinar by clicking on the links directly. The sessions will be recorded and posted on the OAPD Health and Well-being website.

This series is part of the Pros4Peers program, designed to exchange professional expertise among Yale’s medical community, improve well-being, foster a caring and connected culture, and strengthen a sense of belonging among faculty, staff, and students across the health system.
