Are you a Yale faculty member—or working with a Yale faculty member —with an innovative idea in the life sciences, digital health, or health tech? We invite you to apply for the Blavatnik Accelerator Award, a $30,000 award given to Yale innovators who can generate validating data for early-stage research that has the potential to positively impact lives.
The Blavatnik Accelerator Awards are open to faculty who have not previously received a Blavatnik Award and can deliver a defined milestone in a 6-month timeframe to substantiate novel concepts. Accelerator awardees are expected to use the resulting validating data to apply for a full Blavatnik Award in Fall 2024.
Finalists will have the chance to present their proposal at the 2024 Yale Innovation Summit.
CRITERIA
- Project is focused on advancing health care in life sciences, med tech, or digital health
- Applicant is Yale Faculty or submitting on behalf of Yale Faculty
- Applicant has not previously received a Blavatnik Award
