Dr. Andrew Xiao, Assistant Professor of Genetics at Yale Stem Cell Center, received the 2012 Ellison Medical Foundation New Scholar Award, a prestigious award that supports a select group of outstanding young investigators for their research in aging. As an integral part of his research program, Dr. Xiao investigates epigenetic mechanisms prevent premature aging in adult stem cells.
