Guide Imagery Meditation- Manifesting

- 00:02and Good afternoon.
- 00:03My name is Michelle Grand Am licensed
- 00:06massage therapist and I work with the
- 00:09oncology patients at Smilow Cancer hospital.
- 00:12Today we're going to do some again,
- 00:15some Breathwork leading into a guided
- 00:17meditation and then a grounding exercise.
- 00:21So, as always before we get begin,
- 00:23just make sure if you'd
- 00:24like some water nearby,
- 00:25it's good to have some water
- 00:27'cause as we do the breathing,
- 00:29sometimes it's stimulating and we need to
- 00:31Hydrate a little bit and then just bring
- 00:33yourself into a comfortable position.
- 00:35Whatever is comfortable for you.
- 00:37Whether it's sitting down with your
- 00:40feet planted firmly on the ground
- 00:42or in a cross legged position,
- 00:44or even laying back,
- 00:47closing your eyes if you prefer.
- 00:50Breathing is the most natural
- 00:52thing in the world,
- 00:53yet sometimes we forget about
- 00:56it throughout our days.
- 00:57So let's honor our breath now and
- 01:00how it brings us in the present
- 01:03moment so that we're able to relax.
- 01:06We're gonna take five significant
- 01:08and purposeful breaths.
- 01:11One full inhalation.
- 01:13Expanding your belly and
- 01:16chest as much as you can.
- 01:20Hold it for a moment.
- 01:24And as you Exhale, feel a wave
- 01:27of relaxation sleep over you.
- 01:33Again, we're gonna in how?
- 01:35Fill your entire breathing
- 01:38system with oxygen. Hold it.
- 01:43How to Exhale and feel the wave of
- 01:46relaxation, gently sweeping over you.
- 01:51We're gonna take a third in house
- 01:54so that you're brimming with air.
- 01:57Hold it and soak in the oxygen.
- 02:02And Exhale has your body relaxed,
- 02:05is in all different areas without any effort.
- 02:12Take a fourth inhalation.
- 02:15Feeling the breath,
- 02:17purifying your entire body.
- 02:22Who did? Exhale and just
- 02:26notice how you're feeling.
- 02:32And finally, take a fifth inhalation.
- 02:35A beautiful breath coming in.
- 02:38Hold it and feeling invigorated from oxygen.
- 02:44And Exhale. Allowing
- 02:47relaxation to sleep over you.
- 02:51Now take note of how you
- 02:53feel at this very moment.
- 02:55You now have an abundance of oxygen.
- 02:59This is how we are created to feel.
- 03:03Breathing deeply and fully is an
- 03:06expression of self compassion.
- 03:09Now let your breath become natural
- 03:12and just notice how abundance feels.
- 03:18Good.
- 03:26How I'd like you to focus on the
- 03:29sensations at the top of your head.
- 03:32Just notice how the very
- 03:34top of your head feels.
- 03:40And let the focus now move
- 03:43down towards your eyes.
- 03:45Just notice how your eyes feel
- 03:48and ask your eyes to relax.
- 03:53Any small I'd movements you may notice?
- 03:57Just allow them to help you to feel calm.
- 04:08Notice how the back of your head feels
- 04:10against any surface. It may be touching.
- 04:14How heavy does your head feel right now?
- 04:21Let your focus move to your nose,
- 04:24filling the slight sensations of the
- 04:26air moving in and out with your breath.
- 04:37When you breathe in, imagine
- 04:39that you're being filled with a
- 04:41natural medicinal phenomenon.
- 04:45And when you breathe out, imagine your
- 04:48body feels light and deeply relaxed.
- 04:53Very good.
- 04:58Now focus on your ears.
- 05:00Notice how they feel and
- 05:03what they hear around you.
- 05:06Try to hear every single noise.
- 05:17When sounds come into your ears,
- 05:19they act as little waves of
- 05:22relaxation, taking you even deeper.
- 05:30Notice all other sounds passing through,
- 05:32only take you deeper into a state of healing.
- 05:42Now focus on your mouth. How does
- 05:46it feel and what do you notice?
- 05:51Perhaps you can imagine biting into
- 05:53a fresh piece of your favorite fruit.
- 05:57And notice how your mouth waters.
- 06:05Now move your focus down
- 06:07to your neck and shoulders,
- 06:09and if there's any tension along
- 06:11the way, just ask it to release.
- 06:20Move your attention slowly going down each
- 06:23arm all the way down to each finger tip.
- 06:30Feel the sensations on your fingertips.
- 06:36Allow your focus to go to your chest.
- 06:41Relaxing this area as
- 06:43well as your upper back.
- 06:48And if you notice any attention,
- 06:51just ask it to release.
- 06:58Now imagine you're focusing on
- 07:00your heart and you could feel it
- 07:03beating strongly supporting you.
- 07:08Relax your heart an notice
- 07:10how good it feels to do so.
- 07:19Now focus on your lungs and
- 07:22feel them gently expanding and
- 07:24contracting with your breath.
- 07:26Delivering oxygen to your body.
- 07:32Allow your focus to move through your
- 07:35vital organs and digestive system.
- 07:40Just notice your belly an observant
- 07:44digesting effortlessly for you.
- 07:49Notice your low back and how
- 07:51it presses against the surface.
- 07:54You're on an if you feel any tension.
- 07:58Just let it relax.
- 08:04Focus now on your pelvis and hips and
- 08:07notice any sensations you're having there.
- 08:13This takes you deeper into a state
- 08:16of relaxation, which heals you.
- 08:20Allowing your focus to move down each
- 08:23leg now slowly relaxing those as well.
- 08:29Your legs have been taking you
- 08:31so many places over the years
- 08:34and they deserve to fully relax.
- 08:40This wonderful wave of relaxation
- 08:42moves over your knees and down your
- 08:44lower legs all the way to your feet
- 08:47and to the very tip of each to.
- 08:55Good you're doing so well.
- 09:03Now we're going to take our focus
- 09:05back up the same way we can,
- 09:08but this time imagine you're slowly
- 09:11pulling in your favorite color.
- 09:16Think about your favorite color.
- 09:22This color is a deeply healing substance.
- 09:25Now imagine your favorite color coming
- 09:28in through your toes and into your feet.
- 09:32Goes up your legs, passing up your knees.
- 09:36Into your pelvis and hips.
- 09:39This beautiful color is filling up
- 09:42your digestive system and belly.
- 09:45It fills your vital organs
- 09:48and continues into your lungs.
- 09:50This beneficial color is
- 09:53profoundly healing you.
- 09:55It glows as it fills your heart.
- 09:59And notice how happy.
- 10:01You can't become while doing this.
- 10:03The huge travels across your shoulders
- 10:07down each arm to your fingertips.
- 10:10This invigorating color moves up your neck.
- 10:13Now mending you as it goes,
- 10:16it blankets your mouth, your ears,
- 10:19your nose in your eyes.
- 10:22It instantly fills every tiny space
- 10:25in your brain encompassing your mind,
- 10:27healing it as well.
- 10:29It moves all the way to the very
- 10:32top of your head where we began.
- 10:35Enveloping you in healing experience.
- 10:41Good. Notice how completely relaxed
- 10:45your entire body feels right now.
- 10:56We're going to begin a
- 10:59manifestation meditation.
- 11:00That will allow you to amplify
- 11:04your positive attracting power.
- 11:06The ability to manifest lies
- 11:09within every one of us.
- 11:11All it takes is a learning
- 11:14simple techniques in mindfulness
- 11:15through meditations like
- 11:17this to awaken this power.
- 11:21This meditation is not
- 11:23about clearing your mind.
- 11:24We have a mind for a reason.
- 11:27But meditation is a training to
- 11:31perform exactly how we intended to.
- 11:34Allowing the mind to relax and
- 11:38be free and not drag us around.
- 11:42The most helpful thing that we
- 11:44all have to access at anytime is
- 11:47our breaths are breath has been
- 11:49here since the moment we're born.
- 11:52An everyday keeping us alive.
- 11:55So by now honoring our breath.
- 11:58When we are ready to set intentions,
- 12:01we can create a powerful experience
- 12:04and now we're going to begin
- 12:07by setting the intention to
- 12:10manifest the desires we intend to.
- 12:13We say to ourselves,
- 12:15I manifest the changes I now desire.
- 12:19Let's honor our breath now by taking
- 12:22five significant and dedicated breaths.
- 12:27Span the belly and chest. And Exhale.
- 12:35Again, in how?
- 12:40And Exhale.
- 12:44A third inhalation in.
- 12:51And feeling the breast,
- 12:53purifying the entire body.
- 12:56And as we exhale,
- 12:57not trying to do anything at all,
- 13:00just simply notice how we're
- 13:02feeling a fifth inhalation.
- 13:07And Exhale feeling the good
- 13:10NIS of this simple task.
- 13:14Just note how you're feeling
- 13:16in this very moment.
- 13:19You now have an abundance of oxygen.
- 13:26And when you feel ready.
- 13:30Just take a pause.
- 13:34And feel the clarity within you.
- 13:42Manifesting is easy once you know
- 13:45the recipe and all we need to do.
- 13:49Our three simple things desire.
- 13:52Dedication and trust.
- 13:56Desire is the first
- 13:59ingredient in manifestation.
- 14:01You must know what you want and desire
- 14:04it so greatly that you clearly see any
- 14:08path that you need to take to get there.
- 14:11Knowing exactly what you are
- 14:15manifesting is very important.
- 14:18The more details you can add
- 14:20to your desire, the better.
- 14:27Take a moment to think about
- 14:30your dreams an aspiration's and
- 14:33see as many details as possible.
- 14:39Take a few moments and just think
- 14:42about your dreams and desires.
- 14:57Good. Dedication is the 2nd
- 15:02ingredient in manifestation.
- 15:04Only you can put any effort to
- 15:06take steps towards your desires.
- 15:09Network with others.
- 15:11Motivate yourself to practice these
- 15:14meditation techniques everyday.
- 15:16You must dedicate time every single
- 15:18day to do something that takes you
- 15:20closer to getting what you seek.
- 15:24Only you can do this.
- 15:27Nobody else can be dedicated for you.
- 15:31Manifestations starts with you.
- 15:36Good. Just notice how you feel.
- 15:41Take a few moments to feel what
- 15:43are your desires and what is
- 15:45the dedication to those desires
- 15:47that you can make for yourself.
- 15:55The last ingredient for
- 15:57manifestation is trust.
- 16:01This is the easiest part because
- 16:04you just simply let it go and trust.
- 16:08Understand what are your desires.
- 16:10Have a dedication to achieve
- 16:12them and then let go and trust
- 16:15that this will come to you.
- 16:20You completely let go of thinking
- 16:22too hard about the things you have
- 16:25to do to bring it all together.
- 16:27You have the confidence that things
- 16:30will fall into place perfectly.
- 16:32You must know with certainty
- 16:35that your goal is attainable.
- 16:37So you have the faith.
- 16:42Take a few moments now to really trust
- 16:46in your desires becoming reality.
- 17:02Notice how you're feeling right now.
- 17:06No say to yourself.
- 17:07I know I can achieve my aspirations.
- 17:11I deeply believe in myself.
- 17:13I see clearly how my goals
- 17:17and aspirations are attained.
- 17:19I have a great desire to manifest
- 17:22my aspiration's I put in daily
- 17:25dedication that is required of me.
- 17:28And I always believe in myself.
- 17:31I trust the loving energy of the universe.
- 17:41Good. Visualizing is an extremely
- 17:44powerful way to manifest.
- 17:46So imagine now that you have
- 17:49attained all that you desire.
- 17:52See yourself vividly in your mind.
- 17:55Having already achieved the
- 17:57goals you have set for yourself.
- 18:01Visualize with great detail yourself
- 18:03with your intentions fulfills.
- 18:08Notice what you look like.
- 18:11Who you're talking to and the more
- 18:13details you can add, the better.
- 18:18See the surroundings.
- 18:20Urine, such as where you are.
- 18:23The places you go and who you're around.
- 18:28Take several moments to vividly see yourself
- 18:32having manifested all that you wish.
- 18:50Very good. This is changing your
- 18:54life for the better. So remember,
- 18:57honor your breath every single
- 19:00day by taking a moment to fully
- 19:03breathe in an out several times.
- 19:09When you breathe deeply,
- 19:11you automatically relax and being
- 19:13relaxed is the first step in being
- 19:16control of your life and emotions.
- 19:21Now take these words that we've repeated
- 19:25today and visualize with our meditation
- 19:28an remember them throughout your day.
- 19:32Desire. Dedication. And Trust.
- 19:40And repeat them to yourself whenever you can.
- 19:48In closing, put your hand over your heart.
- 19:52Who's your eyes if there open?
- 19:56Feel the warmth and gentle pressure
- 19:58of your hand on your heart.
- 20:06And say to yourself.
- 20:08May I be happy? May I be peaceful?
- 20:14May I be healthy? And may I live with ease.
- 20:23And when you're ready.
- 20:25Can open your eyes.
- 20:28With a breath stretch out your
- 20:30arms as far as you can to the left
- 20:33and the right with all your arm.
- 20:35Your list in your fingers
- 20:37and just shake your arms.
- 20:40Bring your hands over your head.
- 20:43And Exhale into prayer pose.
- 20:49And open your eyes.
- 20:52And just think yourself so much for taking
- 20:55the time to breathe to manifest your
- 20:58desires and your goals and your wishes.
- 21:01And just know that we are in control
- 21:04of what we need for ourselves.
- 21:06And you've expressed that to yourself today.
- 21:11So ioffer you, I'm closing made a
- 21:14longtime sunshine upon you and all
- 21:16love surround you know pure light
- 21:18within you guide your way on God.
- 21:20You weigh on Thursday.
- 21:21I wish you all peace and health and
- 21:24happiness and a wonderful weekend.
- 21:26I think it's gonna be very hot so
