February 15, 2022
  • 00:09Hello, this is Jonathan
  • 00:10Grauer from the AP office.
  • 00:12I want to introduce the
  • 00:14new and improved CV two.
  • 00:16This is a document that has evolved
  • 00:18over the years to allow faculty to
  • 00:21highlight their careers in ways that
  • 00:23do not easily come through on CV
  • 00:25one. The current version
  • 00:27is being released. Develop
  • 00:29more streamlined narrative
  • 00:31statements and to focus data
  • 00:33sections on easily obtained metrics.
  • 00:36For many faculty putting together this
  • 00:38document may be an introspective process
  • 00:41by which they consider what is most
  • 00:44important for their careers in advancement.
  • 00:47This may even be helpful for
  • 00:50ongoing mentoring processes.
  • 00:51In defining outlines and sections
  • 00:53of this document,
  • 00:54we want to give our diverse
  • 00:56faculty the opportunity to present
  • 00:58their varied strengths.
  • 00:59We all have different areas of
  • 01:01focus and different trajectories.
  • 01:03Thus, many of the sections
  • 01:04will not apply to all of you,
  • 01:07and that's fine.
  • 01:08CV two is simply a way to tell your story.
  • 01:11Also, please avoid overlap between this
  • 01:14sections and be as concise as you can,
  • 01:16just like the abstract of a manuscript.
  • 01:19Pull your readers in ICV twos are submitted.
  • 01:22With the new formatting will include
  • 01:24example narratives on the web page for
  • 01:26those of you who have previously made
  • 01:29CV twos with the prior formatting.
  • 01:31This is mostly a rearranging
  • 01:33and streamlining of information.
  • 01:34Overall,
  • 01:34we hope that the information
  • 01:36on the website is helpful and
  • 01:38always happy to answer questions.
