Charlotte Kim

Biography

Charlotte is a student at the Yale School of Medicine who is interested in infectious diseases. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology at Brown University.

Prior to Yale, she assisted the Jung lab with innate immunity and host antiviral defense studies at the USC Keck School of Medicine. Her research as a medical student strives to uncover ethical strategies for preventing pandemics among incarcerated and criminal justice-involved populations. For the summer of 2021 she has been involved with the SEICHE Center for Health and Justice and the NIH RADx-UP initiative to increase access to COVID-19 testing and vaccinations in U.S. prisons.
