Yale Program for Medicine, Spirituality, and Religion: "Sacred Choral Singing and Human Flourishing: An Enigma Worth Exploring."

Sarah will be sharing the results of a mixed-methods study drawn from participants over several choirs across Connecticut that explores the intersection of singing and physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Sarah is the Music Director at Jesse Lee Church, a Methodist congregation in Ridgefield, CT. She holds a Masters degree in conducting from the University of Birmingham, United Kingdom and a Masters in Religion and Music from Yale Divinity School and Institute of Sacred Music.
We will also hear a response from Professor Teresa Berger, Professor of Liturgical Studies and Thomas E. Golden Jr. Professor of Catholic Theology, at Yale Divinity School.
