Med Ed Discussion Group: "Using Narratives and Reflection as a Teaching Strategy"
Coffee/Tea and a light breakfast will be served beginning at 7:15 am.
Nancy Rockmore Angoff, MD, MPH, MEd and Anna Reisman, MD facilitate this Medical Education Discussion Group.
The use of narrative is alive and well at the Yale School of Medicine. We will discuss how narratives and stories are used as a way to give shape to the often confusing, chaotic, and emotionally charged world of medicine. Participants will take part in a reflective writing exercise and discuss how they might bring such exercises to their own teaching and clinical work.
