Center for Brain & Mind Health: "Genomics of Cerebral Small Vessel Disease Across the Lifespan"

Dr. Debette is the current director of the Precision and Global Vascular Brain Health Institute at the University of Bordeaux and the future director of the Paris Brain Institute at Sorbonne University and Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital. Dr. Debette has led large collaborative genomic and epidemiological studies on stroke, cognitive traits, and imaging markers of brain aging, especially cerebral small vessel disease. Her work aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying brain aging and to improve the prevention and treatment of stroke and dementia.
