Learning Objectives:
- Explain how past substance-use epidemics contribute to current morbidity and mortality from substance use
- Distinguish lessons from past substance-use epidemics that could inform policy today
- Identify current trends in prescription opioid use, opioid-related morbidity and mortality, and access to treatment for substance use disorders
Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
