Acoustic Neuroma Support Group

The diagnosis of an acoustic neuroma can be unique and challenging for a variety of reasons. These tumors, though outside the brain and typically “benign,” can be anything but as they can significantly impact a patient’s quality of life with impaired hearing, balance and facial movement, among other important functions.

At the Yale Brain Tumor Center, we are privileged to care for a high volume of patients with acoustic neuromas and appreciate our patients’ concerns. As such, we are poised to bring patients with acoustic neuromas together, along with the friends and families, to discuss commonalities and ways to improve quality of life.
