NASW / CT Region 2 Meetings / Social Work Gatherings: "When the Legal System Calls: Managing Communications with Attorneys & Courts"

This workshop will focus on strategies to respond to attorney releases, subpoenas, testimony requests, and expert witness situations. Participants will gain understanding of the obligations of social workers to protect privileged information and to serve an important role in the legal process.

Presented by Robert Madden, LCSW, JD (Full Professor of Social Work at St. Joseph’s College, Lecturer in Law at UCONN Law School and Author)

Approved for 1.5 CEC’s.

Free for NASW Members, $10 CEC fee for non-NASW members. Students welcome.
