Dawn Nguyen

Dawn received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University in 2022, where they worked with Dr. Stephan Hamann on the recollective content of emotional and neutral events. At the CAMS Lab, they now examine hippocampal and striatal learning in individuals who experienced trauma. Their primary research interests lie in how emotional memories can be enhanced or impaired, especially if it may lead to adaptive or maladaptive behavioral consequences.

Outside of research, Dawn enjoys powerlifting, reading horror literature, and attempting to play the electric guitar.
