Grant Writing – a Practical Overview

An Online Event

Thursday, April 9 | 8:30 am – 10:00 am

For a successful grant, basic grant writing principles are a prerequisite. Participants of this workshop will learn about some key principles, hear about common mistakes, and how to actively apply winning writing principles within their next proposal. The overall goal of the workshop is to teach grant writers how to achieve maximum impact and success with the reader and reviewer in mind. Elements and composition of select key sections of a grant will be emphasized.

The instructor will be Dr. Angelika Hofmann, author of Scientific Writing and Communication. This event is organized by the Office for Postdoctoral Affairs.
