Miraj U. Desai, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, was invited to and recently completed service on the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) Health Equity Roadmap Advisory Group.
The advisory group was made up of people identified by AHA as health equity thought leaders around the country. The overall project seeks to identify key performance indicators and activities within hospitals and health systems to achieve greater health equity.
The AHA’s Institute for Diversity and Health Equity (IFDHE) is a lead on this project, which is being funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. More information regarding IFDHE can be found here.
