WE@Yale Women Innovator Breakfast Series

9/11, 9am, Tsai CITY: Anna Cerilli, Founder and CEO, Darling June

Anna Cerilli is the founder and CEO of Darling June, a Public Benefit Corporation whose mission it is to increase mobility options for children with special needs by designing and manufacturing pediatric mobility devices. There are approximately 500,000 children in the United States with unmet mobility needs, and the mission at Darling June is to close that gap and address the needs of this vulnerable and deserving population.

Darling June was founded in October 2018. In just under one year, the corporation’s operations have expanded to Hong Kong, produced their prototype and is currently negotiating distribution to Europe including the United Kingdom, and Russia. By applying her skills in change management, Anna has used an innovative approach to transform what it looks and feels like to have special needs into something that can be celebrated rather than stigmatized. One of her most qualifying skills is being a mother of two amazing daughters, one with special needs.

Anna’s career in healthcare operations revolves around delivering outstanding patient services at Yale New Haven Hospital where she has worked since 2007. Anna’s work at YNHH focuses on the development and implementation of patient services by incorporating the latest technological advances and data to create systems that deliver excellent patient care.

Anna began her career as a Nurse and is currently earning her Master’s degree in Organizational Effectiveness & Leadership.
