Nancy M. Petry

Dr. Petry received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Harvard University in 1994, and she joined the faculty of UConn Health Center in 1996. Her work has been funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute of Mental Health, and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, as well as private foundations. Dr. Petry serves as a consultant and advisor for the National Institute of Health, she is on the editorial boards of seven academic journals, and she is a member of the American Psychiatric Association's Workgroup on Substance Use Disorders for the DSM-V.
