Bailey Thomson Blake

Hey everyone! I'm Bailey, and I'm an MD student. I grew up in Richmond, Virginia and graduated from the College of William & Mary in 2010, where I majored in Government and Global Studies (Middle Eastern Studies). I served as a Teach For America corps member in San Jose, California, before moving to South Africa in 2012. I spent the next decade opening and leading a network of schools serving vulnerable communities around Johannesburg, Pretoria, and Cape Town. That experience shaped my commitment to equity, values-driven leadership, and meaningful relationships—things I hope to bring to this role as a Peer Advocate. I'm also a long-distance runner, a weightlifter, an avid traveler, and a bookworm. Always down to talk or walk—just reach out!
