Cipriano Appointed as Senior Mentor for SRCD Scholars Program to Advance Equity
Dr. Christina Cipriano, Assistant Professor at the Child Study Center and Director of the Education Collaboratory at Yale, was selected to serve as senior mentor for the Society of Research in Child Development's Towards 2044: Horowitz Early Career Scholars Program. The program provides educational and professional development for scholars, giving them a launching point for a career in the field of child development. The program offers selected mentorship from more-advanced scholars in the field who provide them guidance and support in their pursuit of educational and professional goals. Individuals from diverse racial, ethnic, and disciplinary groups are recruited to serve as mentors.
The Towards 2044: Horowitz Early Career Scholar Program takes its name from the year when the adult population of the United States is estimated to become a diverse majority. SRCD is excited to support the professional development of a diverse group of researchers as we move towards this new period.
