Several charter schools in Southern California have adopted the School of the 21st Century. Here are just a few:

  • Fenton Avenue Charter School, serving Grades 3-5, provides health services, information and referral, and mental health prevention through its family/parent center. In 2013, the school received the Hart Vision School of the Year Award for its leadership and continued success in school transformation. The school is located in Lake View Terrace, near Los Angeles.
  • Fenton Primary Center, established in 2007, serves Grades K-2, providing health services, information and referral, and as mental health prevention through its family/parent center. The school is located in Lake View Terrace, near Los Angeles.
  • Santa Monica Boulevard Community Charter serves Grades K-6. Located in Los Angeles, the school provides guidance and support for parents, health services, information and referral, and mental health prevention through its family/parent center. In 2002, the school became the largest conversion charter school within the Los Angeles Unified School District.

Two additional schools adopting 21C are scheduled to begin in August 2015:

  • Fenton STEM Academy
  • Fenton Charter Leadership Academy
