Leckman is recipient of the 2022 International OCD Foundation's Outstanding Career Achievement Award

DENVER, CO—On July 9, Dr. James F. Leckman, Neison Harris Professor of Child Psychiatry, Psychiatry, Psychology, and Pediatrics at Yale, received the 2022 Outstanding Career Achievement Award by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) at the Annual OCD Conference. The award highlights the significant and notable contributions of a professional to the field of Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and related disorders.

IOCDF Board President Susan Boaz presented the prestigious award to Leckman. She acknowledged his invaluable work in advancing the fields, OCD and Tourette syndrome (TS), in research and practice. “You have given a tremendous amount of yourself to the IOCDF and it has been such a pleasure to see the impact of your work on the OCD and related disorders community.” She continued, “We have been incredibly privileged to share your journey and I personally want to thank you for everything you do.”
