Mindfulness meditation (in person & via Zoom), Cohen auditorium

This is an open non-denominational meditation group sponsored by New Haven Insight that provides an opportunity for mindfulness practice in-person and via ZOOM.

We meet on Mondays from 7 - 8:15 pm. The mindfulness meditation practices include mindfulness of breath, body scan, open awareness, and metta/loving-kindness meditation.

30-minute meditation is followed by a talk and discussion. The discussion topics are focused on bringing mindfulness practice into our day-to-day lives (Previous mindfulness talks included mindfulness, self-compassion, and mindful path in various aspects of life)

Location: Cohen auditorium, 230 South Frontage Road, New Haven

Parking and walking directions: Best parking is on College street (between South Frontage and Congress avenue) - After parking on College street, walk on the sidewalk of South Frontage 400 ft and arrive at 230 South Frontage Road. Walk up two sets of stairs on the side of the building and on the left, and enter through double doors into the Cohen auditorium.

Another parking option at Cedar street (Congress avenue and York Street) is – Walk across the walking path to the front of ES Harkness hall, take a right, and go down the steps, doors to Cohen are on the right.
