A furry friend helps students, staff unwind
For a couple of hours on a recent Friday, students, faculty, and staff at the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library, gathered around a three–year–old mutt named Finn, waiting for a chance to pet him and for him to lick their faces. Finn is the School of Medicine’s therapy dog, there to help people ease their stress and anxiety. As a poster announcing Finn’s debut put it, “Need a furry friend to help you unwind and relax?”
