Daniela Gil Buitrago

Master’s student in the joint UCL/Yale MRes program in Developmental Neuroscience and Psychopathology. Conducting thesis research in the Yale Imaging and Neuropharmacology (YIP) Lab under Dr. Sarah Yip, using computational approaches to characterize changes in functional connectivity within the opioid abstinence network during early methadone treatment in individuals with opioid use disorder.

Holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from King’s College London, with a focus on molecular neuroscience. Research interests include computational modelling and neuroimaging methods to investigate how dynamic interactions among neural, cognitive, and social systems shape individual differences and developmental trajectories.
