    Yale Child Study Center Virtual Workshop Series for Parents & Caregivers

    "Parenting in a Digital World—Navigating Screen Time with Confidence"

    Due to unforeseen circumstances, this workshop series has been cancelled, with plans to reschedule in the near future. New dates will be announced as soon as they are finalized.


    This three-session virtual lunchtime workshop series for parents and caregivers will be led by Yale Child Study Center psychologists Jackie Britt-Friedman, PsyD, and Tamique Ridgard Peters, PhD. Participants will learn how to navigate parenting in the digital age with greater confidence and less stress. The registration fee is $90 for all three sessions.

    • Gain accurate information about the landscape of technology use and its impact on children
    • Discover practical strategies that you can implement at home to create a healthy culture around digital media use

    Format: Three-part one-hour series delivered virtually

    This four-session virtual lunchtime workshop series for parents and caregivers will be led by Yale Child Study Center psychologists Jackie Britt-Friedman, PsyD, and Tamique Ridgard Peters, PhD. The registration fee is $120 for all four sessions.

    Are you parenting a child with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and looking for practical support that actually works? Register today to join this workshop series and:

    • Understand what ADHD really is—and how it affects your child’s daily life.
    • Learn practical tools to help your child build self-regulation, confidence, organization, and independence at home.
    • Discover effective strategies to reduce homework battles, improve communication, and better support your child’s learning.
    • Discuss proven parenting techniques in a supportive environment so you can feel more confident, calm, and connected with your child.

    Format: Four-part one-hour series delivered virtually
