Chungsoo Kim, PharmD, PhD

Dr. Chungsoo Kim is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Section of Cardiovascular Medicine and the Yale/YNHH Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) starting in March 2024. Dr. Kim received his PharmD from Ajou University College of Pharmacy in the Republic of Korea. Following that, he earned his PhD in Biomedical Informatics from the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the Graduate School of Medicine at the same university. Dr. Kim's research interests focus on using real-world data to collaboratively build a healthier world. First, he aims to generate reliable evaluations and evidence regarding the effectiveness and safety of medications based on various data sources (EHR, claims, registries, etc.) and formats (OMOP, etc.) of real-world data. Second, he intends to apply artificial intelligence and digital health methodologies to clinical practices and medication evaluations.
