Overview
Carla Cirilli Andrews, PsyD, is a pediatric psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and their families. She focuses on helping young people with emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns that affect their daily lives at home, in school, and in the community.
Dr. Cirilli Andrews provides evaluations and therapy for children with anxiety, depression, attention and behavior concerns, and challenges related to stress or family changes. She uses evidence-based, or research-supported, treatments and works closely with parents and caregivers so that skills learned in therapy can be used at home. She aims to create a safe, supportive space where children and teens feel heard and understood.
As an assistant professor at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Cirilli Andrews is involved in training future child mental health professionals. Through her work in the pediatric psychology program, she helps integrate psychological care into medical settings so that children can receive support for both their physical and emotional needs.
Dr. Cirilli Andrews earned her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed advanced training in pediatric psychology at the Yale Child Study Center.
