Biography

Adriana Mendez, MA is a predoctoral Autism Psychology Fellow at the Yale Child Study Center. She is currently completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Science at Emory University, where she also completed her Bachelor and Master's degrees in Psychology. Her doctoral dissertation investigates and validates a novel eye-tracking tool that has been FDA approved for the diagnosis of autism. Broadly, in her research, Adriana utilizes mixed-methods to understand and address barriers to accessing early behavioral mental healthcare experienced by the Latino community. For the past 5 years, Adriana's clinical training has emphasized the assessment and intervention of various neurodevelopmental conditions in early childhood and their co-occurring challenges. In her free time, Adriana enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, and exploring New Haven.
