YCSC Summer Interns Showcase Their Work

1 Minute Read

On Friday, July 29, 2022, Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) summer interns showcased and celebrated their work for community members in a poster session at Café Med in E.S. Harkness Hall. View a photo slideshow of the event.

Each summer, the YCSC offers a developmental science internship for undergraduates. Based on their research interests and career trajectories, they are matched with a YCSC faculty mentor and spend the summer working on a relevant research project. Interns attend lectures and seminars where they are exposed to other areas of developmental science beyond the scope of their lab.

At the end of the summer, interns present their research project as a conference poster to YCSC faculty, staff, and students. Past research areas have included the neuroscience of parenting, adolescent risk-taking, interventions for vulnerable families, and addiction.
