Yale Postgraduate Association (YPGA) Symposium

This year's 2nd annual Yale Postgraduate Association (YPGA) Symposium will take place on Friday November 4th in the Sterling Memorial Library. All members of the Yale community are welcome and encouraged to join us at this event celebrating the contributions of postgraduate associates and similar trainees to academic research (and the broader community) here at Yale.

This event affords postgraduates both the opportunity to share their ongoing projects and a chance to learn about and engage with the research of their fellow trainees. The symposium will feature poster presentations, research talks from postgraduates, and other special guest speakers (TBA).

Who is eligible to present?

Our symposium welcomes submissions from recent college-graduates who are currently conducting research at Yale. Individuals holding a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the past 5 years and have not started graduate/other doctoral/medical school by the symposium date are urged to submit their abstracts for consideration. We also welcome individuals of non-traditional college age who are intending to apply to graduate or professional school. We welcome presentations reflecting research conducted at Yale, from fields in STEM and the Humanities.

Panel Information:

We are pleased to announce that the symposium will also feature a special career development panel for interested attendees. (Further Information TBA)
