Stephanie Sudikoff, MD, is a pediatric critical care physician who specializes in treating children facing life-threatening illnesses or injuries. She cares for young patients admitted to intensive care, managing a variety of urgent conditions and providing advanced, continuous monitoring and support.

Dr. Sudikoff is dedicated to improving patient safety by using immersive simulation, which involves recreating real-world medical scenarios to help healthcare teams practice critical skills, decision-making, and communication in a collaborative setting. This approach helps doctors, nurses, and other professionals work together more effectively when caring for critically ill children.

As an associate clinical professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Sudikoff’s work centers on developing and studying new educational tools that strengthen healthcare teamwork and system design. Her academic efforts focus on simulation-based education to enhance safety and quality in pediatric care, sharing her findings through publications and presentations to benefit patients both within and beyond the hospital.

Dr. Sudikoff received her medical training at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She also completed a fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at Yale School of Medicine.
