Biography

Seth is a Business Systems Analyst for Yale School of Medicine - Finance & Administration and works in their Business Systems Planning & Analysis group. In his current role he helps to evaluate business needs of the School of Medicine and determines whether existing systems are in place that can be leveraged for the School's needs or if new systems need to be purchased or developed.

Previously Seth was a Clinical Research Analyst II at the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation (YCCI), is a member of the Joint Data Analytics Team (JDAT) and the Advanced Analytics Team, where he worked on many projects to expand Yale's use of OnCore. He worked directly with Principal Investigators at the School of Medicine to identify study-specific needs so he could accurately and effectively support their research while maintaining all standards of Good Clinical Practice. He mentored and trained new staff, and study teams who were going to be using the OnCore System. This included hands-on training sessions, seminars, web-conferences, presentations, video recordings, and the creation of end-user documentation. Additionally, he facilitated relationships that benefited the institution as a whole. He constantly worked with vendors to expand Yale's reporting abilities and to combine data from outside sources.

Seth is also a Filemaker Developer, and has consulted for multiple groups at Yale including, ENT Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and the Cardiovascular Research Group.

Finally, Seth volunteers his expertise as a Biostatistics & Data Capture Consultant for Health Bridges International a non-profit organization that facilitates sustainable improvements in health of undeserved communities, mainly in Peru, through advocacy, collaboration, and service.
